In the Summer, when our lemons with naturally yellow rinds are not available in Sicily, we satisfy the market demand placed on us for citrus fruit by importing dedicated production from countries abroad. To supply citrus fruit all days of the year is a commitment for us and we answer swiftly to the requirements of our clients, maintaining our Sicilian plantations and workforce active throughout all seasons of the year.
The citrus fruit imported from abroad are packed into packaging with dedicated graphics which differ from the ordinary. The fruit bearing the product name “ORANFRUITS – Citrus fruit of the World” by which the nature and provenance of the product can be evinced; the country is better indicated on the label. The imported citrus fruit usually come from dedicated production areas of South Africa and Argentina. Their quality is controlled and guaranteed, both before and after their arrival in Italy. Oranfrizer also makes use of further internal checks and of a great deal of experience in the sector of citrus fruit. With our know-how, we safeguard the value of every fruit we place on the tables of our consumers.
The variety of common oranges imported during the Summer months is: Navel; Washington navel; Lane Late, Newhall, Navelate, Valencia, Midnight, Delta.
