Tabacchiera Peach

The peach piatta platicarpa, also known as the Tabacchiera peach, has a flattened shape and an intense, fragrant flavour. Its skin is velvety and has variable hues from yellow to delicate rose. The colour of the flesh is white or yellow, but the one whose quality is superior is that with the white flesh.

Nutritional characteristics: Contains vitamin C, fibre, potassium, carotenoids and sugars, vitamin group B.
Territory or provenance: The area of the most prized is along the Western slope of Etna and the Vale of Simeto, where the land conditions and the climate add to the Flavour in a distinctive manner.
Period of availability: From June to July.
Dimensions: 50-100 gr.
